Epithet of Hera and Aphrodite
InAncient Greek religion ,Antheia (Ancient Greek :Ἀνθεία ,lit. ' Flowergoddess ' )[ 1] orAnthea , was an epithet of both the goddessesHera andAphrodite . According to the geographerPausanias , there was a temple of Hera Antheia atArgos ,[ 2] while according toHesychius , Antheia was a name used for Aphrodite atKnossos .[ 3]
