Portuguese long-distance runner

António Coelho Pinto (born 22 March 1966) is a retiredPortugueselong-distancerunner. He was born inVila Garcia,Amarante.

Pinto won theLondon Marathon in 1992, 1997 and 2000, as well as the10,000 metres final at the1998 European Championships in Athletics inBudapest, Hungary. Pinto's best time in themarathon is 2:06:36. He competed in four consecutiveSummer Olympics for his native country, beginning in 1988. He also won theLisbon Half Marathon 1998.[1] He retired in 2002.
