Anonym.OS was alive CD operating system based onOpenBSD 3.8 with strongencryption and anonymization tools. The goal of the project was to provide secure, anonymousweb browsing access to everyday users.[1] The operating system wasOpenBSD 3.8, although manypackages have been added to facilitate its goal. It usedFluxbox as itswindow manager.
The project was discontinued after the release of Beta 4 (2006).
Designed, created and distributed bykaos.theory/security.research.
Although this specific project is no longer updated, its successors are Incognito OS (discontinued in 2008) andFreeSBIE.[2]
