The AnglicanBishop of Colombo is the ecclesiastical head of theAnglican Diocese of Colombo, adiocese in theChurch of Ceylon which is part of theAnglican Communion. TheAnglican Diocese of Colombo was founded in 1845, as the diocese of theChurch of England inCeylon.
