Andrew Bailey Tommy[1] Sr. (December 24, 1911 – April 23, 1972) was a star professionalCanadian football player for eleven seasons for theOttawa Rough Riders and one season for theToronto Argonauts. Tommy led his team to twoGrey Cup wins, in 1940 and 1945. He was inducted into theCanadian Football Hall of Fame in 1989 and into theCanada's Sports Hall of Fame in 1976.

He worked at theDominion Bureau of Statistics.[2]
