Andy Sutcliffe (9 May 1947 – 13 July 2015)[1] was a British racing driver from England.
Born inMildenhall, Suffolk, Sutcliffe began his racing career in 1969. He competed inFormula Three from 1970 to 1973, before contesting the1974 European Formula Two Championship, finishing tenth overall in aBMW-poweredMarch 732 entered by Brian Lewis. He was entered for that year'sFormula OneBritish Grand Prix atBrands Hatch, in aBrabham BT42 run by the ItalianScuderia Finotto team, but did not appear.[2]
In 1977, he was again entered for theBritish Grand Prix, this time atSilverstone, in aMarch 761 run by theRAM Racing team. He failed to pre-qualify.[3]
He later worked at a nursery inAshford, Kent[2] and lived inPluckley in Kent.[4]
