AWA returned to the now renamedMichelin Pilot Challenge in2019, however, they would now be fielding aPorsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport for driversOrey Fidani andScott Hargrove.[4] Following round six atLime Rock Park, the team switched from the Porsche to aMcLaren 570S GT4.[5] The team also replaced Hargrove with fellow Canadian Chris Green due to Hargrove being a Porsche affiliated driver. AWA had an unsuccessful season finishing 15th, last among all full-time teams in the Grand Sport class.
The team returned to the championship for a third season in2020, once again fielding aMcLaren 570S GT4.Orey Fidani remained with the team, while veteranKuno Wittmer was paired alongside him.[6] The drivers would get pole position in the opening race atDaytona, but would ultimately come home in 26th. Due to theCOVID-19 pandemic, the team would have to shut down operations indefinitely. There were hopes of competing later in the year, however, that never came into fruition. AWA would ultimately compete in the2020 Canadian Touring Car Championship. The team was successful, claiming multiple wins, and the 2020 Sprint Championship.[7]
The team would return for the2021 Michelin Pilot Challenge after the 2020 season was impacted due to the pandemic. AWA retainedOrey Fidani andKuno Wittmer in their lineup along with aMcLaren 570S GT4.[8] In the season opener at Daytona, the team qualified on pole and would go on to win the race.[9] This marked the team's first win in the series. Chris Green would return to the team atMid-Ohio, subbing in for Fidani as he was absent awaiting the arrival of his newborn son.[10] Green and Wittmer would go on to get the team's second win in three races.[11] AWA would finish fifth in the GS class of the championship.
AWA would move up theIMSA ladder in2022 to theIMSA Prototype Challenge fielding the No. 17Duqueine M30 - D-08 in theLMP3 class forOrey Fidani and Anthony Mantella.[12] Their entry would also see them compete in the Bronze Cup as both Fidani and Mantella were Bronze rated drivers. Fidani was only scheduled to compete at the season opener atDaytona, while Mantella would compete in four out of five races in the championship. Mantella would finish eighth in the driver's championship and third in the Bronze Driver's cup, while the No. 17 finished ninth in the team's championship.
