Andrew Sparrow

British journalist

Andrew Sparrow is a British journalist[1] and member of theLobby – thepolitical journalists with privileged access to theMembers' Lobby of theHouse of Commons. He writes alive blog forThe Guardian, for which he was nominated for theOrwell Prize in 2010.[2] In 2011, he wonThe Press Awards for Political Journalist, and was praised for his live general election blog,[3] and in 2012 won the Editorial Intelligence Comment Award for mainstream media blogger.[4] His career in journalism started at theSouth Wales Echo and he then worked as a political correspondent for other newspapers including theDaily Mail andThe Daily Telegraph.
