Andrei Aleksandrovich Akimov (Russian:Андре́й Алекса́ндрович Аки́мов) (12 October 1890 – 1916)[1] was a Russianfootball player who died duringWorld War I. He was serving as alieutenant when he died.[2]
Akimov made his debut for theRussian Empire on June 30, 1912, in a1912 Olympics match againstFinland, and scored a goal in that game.[3]
