Andrea Caldarelli (born 14 February 1990) is an Italian racing driver who currently competes inIMSA in the GTD Pro class forPfaff Motorsports in aLamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo alongsideMarco Mapelli and former IndyCar driverJames Hinchcliffe. He has competed in such series asEurocup Formula Renault 2.0, theFormula Three Euroseries,GP2 Asia, theGP3 Series and theSuper Formula series.
Caldarelli undertook aFormula One test in 2008 withToyota Racing[1] and in 2010 withFerrari.[2]
Caldarelli claimed his maiden victory inSuper GT in 2014. Driving alongsideDaisuke Itō forLexus Team KeePer TOM'S, Caldarelli claimed victory in the opening race of the season atOkayama.[3] The duo would finish the season second in the GT500-class championship toTsugio Matsuda andRonnie Quintarelli.
Ahead of the2017 Blancpain GT Series campaign, Caldarelli joinedLamborghini Squadra Corse's factory roster, taking part in theBlancpain GT Series Endurance Cup campaign withGRT Grasser Racing Team.[4] Partnering withChristian Engelhart andMirko Bortolotti, the trio claimed the series championship at season's end. Two years later, Caldarelli swept all three of the championships under theGT World Challenge Europe umbrella; theEndurance Cup,Sprint Cup, and combined championship at large.[5]

For the 2021 season, Caldarelli began competing in the United States, taking part inK-Pax Racing's return to theGT World Challenge America. Paired withJordan Pepper, Caldarelli would claim nine overall victories in 13 races, taking the series championship two races early.[6][7] He returned to the team the following year,[8] successfully defending his title during the 2022 season.[9] In 2023, Caldarelli returned to the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, taking part withIron Lynx alongside co-drivers Bortolotti and Pepper.[10]
In July 2022, Caldarelli was named as one of the first drivers slated to compete inLamborghini'sLMDh entry, which debuted in 2024.[11]
