Andre T. Johnson (born August 25, 1973) is an American former professionalfootball player who was anoffensive tackle in theNational Football League for theWashington Redskins (1996), theMiami Dolphins (1997), and theDetroit Lions (1997–1998). He playedcollege football atPenn State University and was selected with the 30th overall pick in the first round of the1996 NFL draft by theWashington Redskins, who were looking for a replacement of their aging tackleJim Lachey.[1][2] In his NFL career Johnson only played three games, each for the Lions and is usually considered to be one of the worst first round picks of all time.[3]
