Andre Gustavson (born 7 May 1999), is a Finnish professionalbasketball player for theKarhu Basket of the FinnishKorisliiga.
Born inHelsinki, Gustavson started playing basketball in a local clubWartti Basket.[1] Later he joined the Helsinki Basketball Academy and played for the academy teamHBA-Märsky in Finnish second-tierKoripallon I-divisioona.
In April 2018, Gustavson committed toRichmond university basketball team.[2]
After a one-year hiatus due to injuries after finishing college, Gustavson turned professional for the 2024–25 season when he signed withKauhajoki Karhu Basket in Finnish top-tierKorisliiga.[3][4][5][6]
Gustavson has played for Finland U16 and U18 national teams. He was also part of the Finland U17 roster at the2016 FIBA U17 World Cup inZaragoza, Spain, where he averaged 11 points and 3.7 rebounds in seven games. Currently Gustavson plays for theFinland men's national basketball team. He was named in the Finland roster for the2024 FIBA Olympic qualifying tournament inValencia, Spain,[7] for matches againstBahamas,Poland andSpain.
