Andranolava is a rural municipality inMadagascar. It belongs to thedistrict ofSakaraha, which is a part ofAtsimo-Andrefana Region. The population of the commune was estimated to be approximately 3,000 in 2001 communecensus.[2]
Only primary schooling is available. The majority 50% of the population of the commune are farmers, while an additional 45% receives their livelihood from raising livestock. The most important crop isrice, while other important products arecassava andonions. Services provide employment for 1% of the population. Additionally fishing employs 4% of the population.[2]
