Anaz (Arabic:عناز, also spelledAanaz) is a village in northernSyria located west ofHoms in theHoms Governorate. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics, Anaz had a population of 2,038 in the 2004 census.[3] Its inhabitants are predominantlyChristians.[4] The village has aGreek Orthodox Church and aGreek Catholic Church.[5][6]
