Hopkinsia anoectocolea

TheAnarthriaceae was afamily of three genera,Anarthria,Hopkinsia andLyginia offlowering plants, now included inRestionaceae followingAPG IV (2016).[1] The family is accepted in theAngiosperm Phylogeny Group's classification system,APG III system,[2] but is not considered a separate family in many other taxonomic systems.[3][4] The three genera are herbaceous but differ greatly in characteristics.

TheAPG II system, of 2003 (unchanged from theAPG system, of 1998), did recognize this family, and assigned it to the orderPoales in the cladecommelinids, in themonocots. The family contains three genera and 10 species, and is found inSouthwest Australia.
