Amiru Shimada (島田 あみる, born 23 June 1998) is a Japanesefield hockey player.
Amiru Shimada was born 23 June 1998[1] in theShiga Prefecture.[2]
In the Japanese national league, Shimada represents theNanto Bank Shooting Stars.[2]
Shimada made her senior international debut in 2019 during a test series againstChile inIbaraki.[3]
Throughout her career, Shimada has medalled with the national team numerous times. She won gold at the2022 Asian Cup inMuscat and the2021 Asian Champions Trophy inDonghae City, silver at the2023 Asian Champions Trophy inRanchi and bronze at the2022 FIH Nations Cup inValencia.[4][3][5]
She was named in the squad for the2024 FIH Olympic Qualifiers in Ranchi.[6]
