Amine Adli (Arabic:أَمِين عَدْلِيّ; born 10 May 2000) is a professionalfootballer who plays as anattacking midfielder,winger, orforward forPremier League clubBournemouth. Born in France, he plays for theMorocco national team.
On 30 October 2018, Adli signed his first professional contract withToulouse.[1] He made his professional debut with the club in a 3–1Coupe de la Ligue loss toLyon on 18 December 2019.[2]
Adli helped Toulouse reach the playoffs in the2020–21 Ligue 2 season, with 7 goals and 8 assists.[3] He was then voted Ligue 2 player of the season.[4][5]
On 26 August 2021, Adli transferred to German clubBayer Leverkusen signing a five-year contract.[4] He scored his first goal for the club on 30 September 2021 in aEuropa League group stage match againstCeltic; a 91th minute goal to round off a 4–0 away win.[6] On 20 November 2021, he scored his firstBundesliga goal, scoring the only goal after three minutes in a 1–0 win overVfL Bochum.[7] On 18 March 2023, he was booked twice for simulation in the penalty area, but both were overturned by the referee afterVAR. The resulting penalty kicks provided both goals in a 2–1 victory over eventual Bundesliga championsBayern Munich.[8]
In the last game of the2021–22 season, Adli was sent off 8 minutes into Leverkusen's match against Bochum.[5] Leverkusen lost 3–0, which could have caused them to drop out of the European qualification spots.[9]
Adli was part of the Leverkusen team that won the unbeaten2023–24 Bundesliga.[5]
On 21 August 2025, Adli joinedPremier League clubBournemouth, signing a five-year contract in a deal reported to be £25.1 million.[10] He made his debut for the club as a substitute on 23 August in a 1–0 home win againstWolverhampton Wanderers[11], and made his full starting debut a month later in a 2–2 away draw atLeeds United.[12] He scored his first goal for the club in a 3–2 away loss toSunderland on 29 November 2025.[13] On 24 January 2026, he scored a dramatic 95th minute winner at home againstLiverpool to give the club their first victory over the Reds since 11 March 2023.[14]
Born in France, Adli holds French and Moroccan nationalities.[15] He was a youth international for France, but has chosen to represent Morocco as a senior instead.[16]
In August 2023, Adli was called up for the first time to join theMoroccan national team, for the upcoming games againstLiberia andBurkina Faso.[17][18]
On 17 October 2023, Adli scored his first goal for the national team in a 3–0 victory againstLiberia.[19][20] Two months later, on 28 December, he was named in the 27-man squad for the2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast.[21]
