TheAmerican Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics is a monthlypeer-reviewedmedical journal coveringorthodontic research. It is published byElsevier and is the official journal of theAmerican Association of Orthodontists. The current Editor-in-Chief is Dr. Jae Hyun Park ofArizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, who began his term in June 2025. The journal was established in 1915 and obtained its current name in 1986.[1] Previous names includeAmerican Journal of Orthodontia (1915), American Journal of Orthodontia and Oral Surgery (1921), and American Journal of Orthodontics (1948).[2]
