Ameloctopus litoralis is the onlyspecies ofoctopus inmonotypic genusAmeloctopus.[3] It is found in shallow waters in tropical Australia and lacks anink sack.Ameloctopus litoralis lays largeeggs compared to other octopuses.[4]
