Ambica Banerjee (28 August 1928[2] – 25 April 2013) was a member of the15th Lok Sabha. He was elected as aTrinamool Congress candidate fromHowrah (Lok Sabha constituency).[3]
Banerjee was born in 1928 to Shri Anilmohon Banerjee and Shyama Devi inSibpur,West Bengal. He graduatedB.E InMechanical Engineering fromHatfield Technical College and becameMechanical Engineer.
In 2001, 1996, 1991, 1987 and 1982 state assembly elections, Ambica Banerjee won from theHowrah Central assembly seat.[4] Banerjee died inKolkata on 25 April 2013.[5]
