Amastra elongata is an extinctspecies of air-breathingland snails,terrestrialpulmonategastropodmollusks in the familyAmastridae.[3]
The shell is sinistral and sharply turreted, adorned with numerous well-defined longitudinal striae and covered by a brown epidermis. It consists of seven roundedwhorls, with a deep and simple suture.
Theaperture is ovate, and thecolumella bears a distinct plication. The outerlip is simple and unadorned. .[4]
This species wasendemic to Hawai, occurring onOʻahu.
