"Alter Ego" is a song by American rappersDoechii andJT.[1][2] It was released byTop Dawg Entertainment andCapitol Records on March 29, 2024.[3][4][5] The song was written by both artists along with Zach Witness, who produced it with Doechii.

Stereogum has described the song as a "high-energy Eurodance-inspired pop-rap throwdown".[6] In 2025, the song was used during alip-sync contest betweenCrystal Envy andLexi Love on theseventeenth season ofRuPaul's Drag Race.[1][3]

Composition

"Alter Ego" is ahip house song.[7] It contains synths similar to the ones used in theRobin S. song"Show Me Love".[8]
