Wolfmüller was born inLandsberg am Lech. Together with Heinrich and Wilhelm Hildebrand he developed theHildebrand & Wolfmüller motorcycle.[1][2] Heinrich and Wilhelm Hidebrand were steam-engine engineers before they teamed up with Alois Wolfmüller to produce their internal combustionMotorrad inMunich in 1894.[1]
Wolfmüller was a friend of German pioneerOtto Lilienthal and developed different kind of early flying objects.
