Allison Harvard Burke is an American model, artist, actress, andInternet celebrity, best known as the runner-up ofAmerica's Next Top Model12 and17: All-Stars. Harvard has appeared on a number of magazine covers, such asHarper's Bazaar,L'Officiel,ONE,WeTheUrban, and one of the Philippines' leading fashion magazines,Mega. She was the brand endorser of theBelo Medical Group and covered their special edition magazine.
Harvard was born inHouston, Texas, and raised inNew Orleans, Louisiana.[3][4] She attendedLouisiana State University inBaton Rouge before transferring to theUniversity of New Orleans, where she studied art during Spring 2009.[4] Her artwork is featured in the 2007 novelThe Story Told at Night by Liza Kuznetsova.[5]
In 2005, before her appearance onAmerica's Next Top Model, Harvard gained notoriety as anInternet meme on4chan, where she became known as Creepy-chan.[6]
After being contacted through an email by a casting agent who had seen her look online,[4] Harvard successfully auditioned for the reality television showAmerica's Next Top Model Cycle 12. During the audition, Harvard stated that she thoughtnosebleeds were pretty[7] and that she wasfascinated by blood.[8]
Harvard was the fourth finalist selected (after Aminat Ayinde,Natalie Pack and Fo Porter) for the top thirteen. Her roommates in the Upper East Side New York City home were Isabella (Kelly Marie) Falk, Kortnie Coles, Sandra Nyanchoka, London (Lauren) Levi-Nance,Natalie Pack andCelia Ammerman. Over her stay, Harvard received four first call-outs[9] and was selected to participate in two challenge prizes won by fellow contestantCelia Ammerman. Harvard had two collective bottom two appearances. The first where she overanalyzed her shoot with London (Lauren) Levi-Nance[10] which she survived over Nijah Harris who was eliminated third in her first ever bottom two appearance. The second time Harvard was called forward was for her lackluster commercial and her one-dimensional look that led the judges to question her versatility.[11] This time Harvard survived for the second time over Tahlia Brookins who was eliminated sixth in her first ever bottom two appearance.
During the Cycle 12 Finale ofANTM inSao Paulo, Brazil, Harvard shot a convincingCoverGirl commercial and was praised for her improvement from the previous commercial.[12] Despite Harvard's (and Aminat Ayinde's) better performances in theCoverGirl commercial, Teyona Anderson was ultimately crowned the twelfth winner ofAmerica's Next Top Model.
After her first appearance on the show, Harvard was selected to return toAmerica's Next Top Model to representCycle 12 (along with fellow semifinalist, laterCycle 14 contestant Angelea Preston) onthe first All-Star edition of the show along with twelve other returning models from pastAmerica's Next Top Model cycles. Throughout the competition, Harvard developed her own perfume, performed in a music video for her song "Underwater", won two challenges, received two first call-outs and survived her first-ever bottom two appearance overLaura Kirkpatrick fromAmerica's Next Top Model Cycle 13: the "Petite Edition".
Harvard is currently[vague] signed withNEXT Model Management andElite Model Management[citation needed]. In June 2009, Harvard signed with the Los Angeles-based Nous Model Management,[1] but is no longer included in the agency's current roster.[13] SinceANTM, Harvard has modelled forKarmaLoop, walked at the 2012New York Fashion Week for Gemma Kahng andMalan Breton, and was featured in a spread forONE Magazine.[14] She has also modelled forChromat andRichie Rich.[15][16]
Harvard is the face ofMichael Cinco's "Impalpable" perfume with international male model Tierry Vilson, and walked in the Philippine Fashion Week 2012 with fellowAll-Stars contestant Dominique Reighard inBench fashion shows.[17] She was on the cover of the fifth issue of online publicationWeTheUrban.[18] In mid-2012, she appeared in promotional photos for G Fine Body Art, a beauty brand that was set to launchglittery body art services at salons and spas starting later in the fall of 2012.[19]
In celebration of Bench's twenty-fifth anniversary, Harvard walked the runway at Bench Universe: The 2012 Denim & Underwear Show in September 2012, along with Reighard andSophie Sumner.[20]
On October 6, 2012, Harvard made an appearance in an episode ofI Am Meg: Own the World in Style, a Philippine TV Lifestyle show onETC.[21]
On October 10, 2012, a behind-the-scenes clip showed Harvard in a fashion shoot forBello Magazine, titled "Hippie Trail".[22] On October 17, Harvard walked for NAVEN at theLos Angeles Fashion Week.[23]
In October 2013, it was announced that Harvard would be one of the hosts of the Philippine television showMega Fashion Crew: Reloaded onETC.[24] In 2014, she became one of the judges in a dance competition television showCelebrity Dance Battle in Philippines, which premiered onTV5 on March 22.[25] In August 2014, Harvard booked another show for Bench calledThe Naked Truth[26] and establishedCatxBench, a watercolor illustration designed by her, as a part ofBench Collection in December. The same month, she was a guest judge for the grand finals ofMiss Earth 2014,[citation needed] and also appeared onAmerica's Next Top Model to shoot in Tyra's new makeup line calledTYRA[27] along with the finalist of the season. She was also featured in the March 2015 issue ofHigh Street Magazine with her boyfriend, Jeremy Burke.
Harvard confirmed that she would judge theCosplay Authority Global Challenge[28] (The CAGE) co-located withAsiaPOP Comicon Manila 2015[29] inManila.
Harvard made her acting debut as the character Carina in the independent feature filmInsensate.[30] The film was released early August 2013 on iTunes and later on Amazon.[31]
Harvard plays Madeline in the live musical "Cages" by Woolf and the Wondershow.[citation needed]
Harvard married her boyfriend of seven years, Jeremy Burke, inSan Luis Obispo, California, in late October 2021.[32][33] The couple has a child, Henry Harvard Burke.[34]

While still looking every bit like the blue-eyed doll-like model that ANTM fans loved, the Allison who faced us seemed more mature, graceful and confident.
