Alioum Saidou (born 19 February 1978) is a Cameroonian former professionalfootballer who played as adefensive midfielder. He played international football for theCameroon national team, with whom he played at the2006 Africa Cup of Nations.
Born inMaroua, Saidou started his career in his native Cameroon at local sideCoton Sport before being spotted by scouts fromİstanbulspor. He joinedGalatasaray S.K., before moving toMalatyaspor in 2005.
