Alingpo (a55 le21 pho21;[2]Chinese:阿灵泼; also calledYiqing 彝青 orDry Yi 干彝) is aLoloish language of easternYunnan,China.
Li, et al. (2011) classify Alingpo as an Eastern Yi language similar toNasu andGepo. However, Hsiu (2018)[3] notes that it is aSoutheastern Loloish language closely related toLope,Axi,Azhe, andAzha.
Alingpo is spoken by tens of thousands of people inShizong County andLuoping County. InShilin County, Alingpo is spoken in only one village, Yimeidu village 矣美堵村,[4] by about 100 people.[1] InShilin County, Alingpo speakers are surrounded bySani speakers.
