Alim Abdallah (Hebrew:עלים עבדאללה;Arabic:عليم عبدالله; 1982 – 9 October 2023) was the deputy commander of the Israeli 300th Brigade of the91st Division.[1][2] Abdallah, aDruze Israeli, was killed by a Hezbollah strike while responding to an infiltration operation during theGaza war. His rank was lieutenant colonel.[3]
Abdallah enlisted in the IDF in 2002, in the299th Battalion. During the2006 Lebanon War, he was the deputy commander of a company.[1] After that, Abdallah was the battalion's commanding officer.[1] After completing his studies, he was appointed deputy commander of the 33rd Battalion inKarakal.
Abdallah later served as a paramilitary officer of theParan Brigade, commander of the 299th Reserve Battalion, and head of the training branch of the Northern Command.[4] In the 300th Brigade, he held several senior positions, such as a brigade operations officer, a brigade safety officer, and the brigade's deputy commander.
On 9 October 2023, Abdallah was killed in theWestern Galilee during an exchange of fire with militants who infiltrated fromLebanon.[5][6] He was killed one week prior to completing his military service.[7]
Abdallah was married to Muna.[8] They had three children.[9] The brother of Abdallah was an officer in the same unit and heard over the internal communication that his brother was hit.[10]

סגן מפקד החטיבה המרחבית 300, סא"ל עלים עבדאללה, שנהרג אתמול (שני) בהיתקלות עם מחבלים שחדרו לישראל מלבנון, הובא היום למנוחות בכפר יאנוח־ג׳ת שבגליל המערבי. יותר מ-2,000 בני אדם השתתפו בהלוויה. עבדאללה היה בן 41 במותו והותיר אחריו אישה ושלושה ילדים.
שני בני הכפר הדרוזי יאנוח בגליל - סא"ל עלים עבדאללה וסא"ל סלמאן חבקה - נפלו במלחמת "חרבות ברזל". האבל במשפחותיהם ובכפר כבד.
