Alexis Ganay Peterson (born June 20, 1995) is an American-German[1]basketballcombo guard who last played forBeşiktaş of theTurkish Super League. A formerACC Player of the Year atSyracuse, she was drafted by theSeattle Storm with the 15th overall pick of the2017 WNBA draft.[2][3] She played for theGerman national basketball team at the2024 Olympics in Paris.[4]
Peterson was drafted by theSeattle Storm in the second round (15th overall) of the2017 WNBA draft.[3] Spending one season with the Storm as the team's backup point guard, she was waived after the team draftedJordin Canada in 2018.[5]
Peterson signed a training camp contract with theIndiana Fever in 2018, but did not make the roster.[6]
