Soviet paleontologist, anatomist, and histologist
Alexey Petrovich Bystrow, sometimes spelledAlexey Petrovich Bystrov andAleksei Petrovich Bystrow, (Russian:Алексе́й Петро́вич Быстро́в; February 1, 1899 – August 29, 1959) was aSovietpaleontologist,anatomist, andhistologist.
Born in the village of Tarasovo inRyazan Governorate on 1 February 1899. His father was aRussian Orthodoxprotopriest and his mother was a schoolteacher.
