Alexandru Coconul (14 August 1611 – 26 June 1632) was thehospodar andvoivode ofWallachia from 1623 to 1627 and thehospodar ofMoldavia from 1629 to 1630.[1] He was the son ofRadu Mihnea, who also was ahospodar. He marriedRuxandra Beglitzi. He was the last ofVlad the Impaler's Romanian bloodline.[2] He died on 26 June 1632 inIstanbul.[citation needed]
