Alexander Vyacheslavovich Demin (Russian:Александр Вячеславович Дёмин; born 23 September 1988,Rostov-on-Don) is a Russian political figure and a deputy of the8th State Duma.[1]

Biography

In 2009 he graduated from the Psychology Department of theModern University for the Humanities. In 2015 he graduated from theSouthern Federal University in Rostov-on-Don.[1]

From 2006 to 2009 Demin worked as an educator in the children's health camp Beryozka. From 2009 to 2010 he served at theRussian Space Forces. In 2012 he also worked as a counsellor at theOrlyonok. In 2020 he joined theNew People party. Since September 2021 he has served as deputy of the8th State Duma.[1][2]

Sanctions

He was sanctioned by theUK government in 2022 in relation to theRusso-Ukrainian War.[3]
