Alem Ketema (Amharic: ዓለም ከተማ) is a town inNorth Shewa Zone,Amhara Region, Ethiopia.[1] It is the administrative centre ofMerhabeteworeda. The official spelling is 'Alem Ketema (with initial diacritical), and alternative spellings areAlem Catema andAlām Katma.[2]
In 1993, a project was established to build a 675km road from Alem Ketema toSekota.[3]
