Alberta Provincial Highway No. 570[2] is a highway in the province ofAlberta, Canada. It runs east-west fromHighway 10 within Town ofDrumheller, 1.6 km (1.0 mi) east of the former hamlet ofEast Coulee, to theSaskatchewan border southAlsask, Saskatchewan.[3] Highway 570 continues east in Saskatchewan as an unnumbered highway for 1.1 km (0.7 mi) before ending atSaskatchewan Highway 44.
Highway 570 is considered part of the shortest route betweenCalgary andSaskatoon, with some digital map platforms recommending using it along withHighway 564 andHighway 848 through Alberta, as opposedHighway 9 which is part ofCanada's National Highway System.[4] In spite a difference of approximately 25 km (15 mi) and bypassing the Drumheller townsite, the route is sparsely populated with no services.
