Alaska Senate district O is one of 20 districts of theAlaska Senate. It has been represented by RepublicanMike Shower since 2023. Shower previously represented District E from 2018−2023. District O is located in theMat-Su Valley and encompasses the entirety ofAlaska's 29th House of Representatives district and30th House of Representatives district, includingValdez,Houston, andBig Lake.[2]

From 2013 to 2022, the district covered a portion of Alaska south ofAnchorage - this area is now encompassed bydistrict D.
