Alan Cardoso de Andrade (born 5 January 1998), known asAlan Cardoso (Brazilian Portuguese:[aˈlɐnkaʁˈdozu]) or simplyAlan, is a Brazilian professionalfootballer who plays forSuper League clubBhayangkara Presisi. Mainly aleft back, he can also play as aleft midfielder.
Alan Cardoso was born inRio de Janeiro, and joinedVasco da Gama's youth setup in 2006 at the age of eight.[1] On 16 July 2016, he made his first team debut by starting in a 1–1Série B away draw againstLuverdense.[2]
Alan Cardoso contributed with nine appearances (three starts) duringhis first season, as his side achieved promotion to theSérie A. He made his debut in that category on 15 June 2017, starting in a 2–1 loss atChapecoense; playing as a midfielder, he was replaced byAndrezinho in the 27th minute after beingbooked early in the match.[3]
On 25 April 2018, Alan Cardoso was loaned toSérie C sideABC until the end of the year.[4] In August, however, he suffered aknee injury and returned to his parent club for treatment.[5]
On 28 February 2019, Alan Cardoso signed a three-year contract withSantos.[6] Assigned tothe B-team, he was loaned toLondrina on 20 July 2020.[7]
