Alain Serge Ferté[1] (born 8 October 1955 inFalaise, Calvados) is a French professional racing driver. He is the elder brother ofMichel Ferté, who was also a professional racing driver.[2]
Alain Ferté competed five seasons inFormula 3000 1985–1989. He won the 1979French Formula Renault Championship and the 1980French F3 championship.[3]
He has also competed in GT racing for many years, driving cars such as thePorsche 911 GT1,Toyota MR2-basedSARD MC8-R, andMaserati MC12 GT1.
