Alberto Aladje Gomes de Pina (born 22 October 1993), known asAladje, is a Portuguesefootballer who plays for ItalianSerie D club SC Ligorna 1922 as aforward.
Born inBissau,Guinea-Bissau to a father ofPortuguese descent, Aladje started playing organised football withCalcio Padova in Italy.[2] In summer 2012 he was acquired bySerie A clubA.C. ChievoVerona,[3][4] but never represented the team officially, first being loaned toF.C. Aprilia inLega Pro Seconda Divisione.
On 8 July 2014, already owned byU.S. Sassuolo Calcio, Aladje signed withF.C. Pro Vercelli 1892 also in a temporary deal.[5] His only appearance as a professional took place on 6 December of that year, when he came on as a 76th-minutesubstitute in a 0–4 home loss againstDelfino Pescara 1936 in theSerie B.[6]
Released by Sassuolo on 30 June 2016 without one single competitive match to his credit, Aladje continued to play in theItalian lower leagues, representing in quick successionF.C. Ponsacco 1920 SSD,Savona F.B.C. andU.S. Gavorrano.[7] On 20 August 2019, he joinedS.S.D. F.C. Messina of theSerie D;[8] in December, he suffered a knee injury which sidelined him for several months.[9]
Aladje chose to representPortugal internationally, first being selected to the2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup inTurkey. He started for thenational team in the group-stage opener againstNigeria, scoring in a 3–2 win.[10] He added a further two in the next two games, withSouth Korea (2–2) andCuba (5–0).[11][12]
Aladje won his onlycap for theunder-21 side on 14 August 2013, playing 78 minutes in a 5–2friendly victory overSwitzerland.[13]
