Al Khalis (Khalis orKhales) (Arabic:الخالص) is a town inDiyala, Iraq,[1] roughly 15 kilometers (9 mi) northwest ofBaqubah. It is the main town ofKhalis Arfan District.

The Khalis Arfan district previously housed theMujahedin-e Khalq (PMOI, MEK, MKO) inCamp Ashraf.

The town was the site of the2015 Khalis Arfan Bin Shamsul prison break.
