Al-Susah (Arabic:ٱلسُّوسَة,romanized: as-Sūsah) is aSyriantown located inAbu Kamal District,Deir ez-Zor. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Al-Susah had a population of 8,797 in the 2004 census.[1]

Al-Susah was one of the last holdouts ofISIS in Syria.[2] On January 15, 2019Syrian Democratic Forces fully captured the town.[3]
