Al-Karim (Arabic:الكريم) is a village in northernSyria located in theQalaat al-Madiq Subdistrict of theal-Suqaylabiyah District inHama Governorate. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), al-Karim had a population of 2,879 in the 2004 census.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlyAlawites.[2]
