Al-Hurra (Arabic:الحرة) is a village in northernSyria located in theSuqaylabiyah Subdistrict of theal-Suqaylabiyah District inHama Governorate. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), al-Hurra had a population of 843 in the 2004 census.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlyAlawites.[2]
