Aishwarya Devan is an Indian actress and model fromKerala, who has acted inMalayalam,Tamil andKannada cinema.[1] She was crownedFemina Miss IndiaMaharashtra in 2017.[2] She won various subtitles during the contest[3] and made it to top-6 finalists.[4] She made herHindi film debut with the filmKaashi in Search of Ganga.[5]

Early life

Aishwarya was born toMalayalee parents inBangalore to S. Devan, and Sheeja Devan who is fromShornur,Palakkad district,Kerala.[1]

Career

She debuted in aTamil movie 'Yuvan' with Siddharth Rajkumar andRakul Preet Singh.[6] Then in Malayalam, Deepan introduced her toShaji Kailas who cast her in his filmSimhasanam oppositePrudhviraj Sukumaran. She played a Bangalore-based girl who, after her Plus Two, enters college in both her films.[1]Yuvan was her firstTamil film andSimhasanam was her first Malayalam film.[7]

AfterSimhasanam, she acted inBala'sThe Hitlist andMajor Ravi’sKarmayodha.[8]

In 2013, she received the lead role InV. K. Prakash'sThank You. In the early 2014 she signed up for the Tamil filmAnegan directed by K.V. Anand as the second lead oppositeDhanush which released in the early 2015 and was ablockbuster, which also released as Anekudu in Telugu.
