Ahmet Yorulmaz (1932 – 31 March 2014) was a Turkish journalist, novelist and translator. He was born inAyvalık to a family ofCretan Turks deported to mainland Turkey as part of the Greek/Turkishpopulation exchange decreed in theTreaty of Lausanne. His best-known novelSavaşın Çocukları (Children of War) deals with the lives of Muslims inCrete before the exchange.[1] He was also translator ofGreek literature into Turkish.
