Ahmed Fakhry (Arabic:أحمد فخري) (born inFaiyum Governorate in 1905^[1] –Paris, 7 June 1973^[2]) was anEgyptianarchaeologist who worked in the Western desert of Egypt (including in 1940 dig atEl Haiz, and then atSiwa), and also in thenecropolis atDahshur.^[3][4]
