Ahmad Mahmoud Karima (Arabic:أحمد محمود كريمة),professor ofIslamic law andcomparative jurisprudence atAl-Azhar University, is best known for hisreligious moderation and condemnations ofradicalism, and for his intense criticism of theSalafi-Wahhabi movement, and theMuslim Brotherhood group.[2][3][4][5]

He declared after the2016 international conference on Sunni Islam in Grozny that "If the world is looking forward to uprootingterrorism, it has to stand up againstWahhabism because they are the root of allsedition and conflict."[6][7]
