Agustín Albarracín Basil (born 29 August 2005) is a Uruguayan professionalfootballer who plays as aforward forUruguayan Primera División clubBoston River.[1]

Club career

Albarracín is a youth academy graduate ofMontevideo Wanderers. He made his professional debut for the club on 24 June 2023 in a goalless draw againstPeñarol.[2] In December 2024, he joinedBoston River.[3]

International career

In January 2024, Albarracín was called up by theUruguay under-23 team head coachMarcelo Bielsa to replace injured Rodrigo Dudek in the squad for the2024 CONMEBOL Pre-Olympic Tournament.[4] However, he remained as an unused substitute throughout the tournament as Uruguay were eliminated in the group stage.[5]

In January 2025, Albarracín was named in theUruguay under-20 squad for the2025 South American U-20 Championship.[6]

Albarracín is the younger brother of professional footballerNicolás Albarracín.[7]
