Agradwip railway station is a railway station onBandel–Katwa line connecting fromBandel toKatwa, and under the jurisdiction ofHowrah railway division ofEastern Railway zone. It is situated besideState Highway 6 at Gazipur, Agradwip ofPurba Bardhaman district in the Indian state ofWest Bengal.[1] FewEMUs and passengers trains stop at Agradwip railway station.[2]
The Hooghly–Katwa Railway constructed a line fromBandel toKatwa in 1913.[3] This line including Agradwip railway station was electrified in 1994–96 with 25 kV overhead line.Nearby Village name Choto Meigachi.[4]
