Agonli-Houégbo is anarrondissement in theZou department ofBenin. It is an administrative division under the jurisdiction of the commune ofZagnanado. According to the population census conducted by theInstitut National de la Statistique Benin on February 15, 2002, the arrondissement had a total population of 4,437.[1]
The royal residence of thenon-sovereign Kingdom of Agonlin, led byDada Agonlinhossou Yèto Kandji since 1993, is located here.Vodun is practiced in the area, with the deity Sanligan being considered particularly important.[2]
