TheAfro-Asian Cup of Nations, also called theAFC Asia/Africa Challenge Cup, was an intercontinentalfootball competition endorsed by theConfederation of African Football (CAF) and theAsian Football Confederation (AFC), contested between representative nations from these confederations, usually the winners of theAfrica Cup of Nations and the winners of theAFC Asian Cup or theAsian Games. All editions were official competitions of CAF and AFC[1]
