Adrian Grbić (born 4 August 1996) is an Austrian professionalfootballer who plays as aforward forSwiss Super League clubLuzern.[1][2]
On 8 July 2020, Grbić signed a five-year contract withLigue 1 clubLorient. The deal was reportedly worth around €10 million.[3] He scored a goal from a penalty on his debut with Lorient in a 3–1 victory againstStrasbourg on 23 August 2020.[4][better source needed] On 11 January 2022, Grbić signed for Dutch clubVitesse on loan until the end of the2021–22 season.[5] On 31 January 2023, Grbić was loaned toValenciennes inLigue 2 for the rest of the season.[6]
On 6 February 2024, Grbić moved on loan toLuzern in Switzerland, with an option to buy.[7]On 31 August 2024, Grbić returned toLuzern signing a three-year contract.[8]
Grbić was born in Austria and is of Croatian descent.[citation needed] On 4 September 2020, he debuted for theAustria national football team in a2020–21 UEFA Nations League match againstNorway.[9]
